Blogging my way through work, weightloss, life, and the 20's. This blog has been many things. For a while it was my go to for weight loss, however, as that became a struggle it was easier to avoid it. So I would put obligations on myself to blog, which became a fail. This time around, at the place I'm at in life now, I'm just ready to share with others about what changes are occurring in my life.

Awesome Updates- Been Awhile, I Know
Hey readers! I know it has been awhile, but school kicked in and then I was training for my first 5k, just didn't have a moment to blog! But I am back now!
First 5k~
My mom was diagnosed with diabetes when she was about 16 years old. She is type 1 and on a pump. I heard about a Diabetes Awareness Event in Savannah, Ga, called Sunsplash, there are three races: Kayaking, Cycling, and a 5k. I thought it would be an awesome experience for me and my family to do together. We raised over $1,000 and I ran my first 5k in 27 minutes, which I was proud of!
That's me, my brother Forrest, and Dottie, my mom, at Sunsplash, we made shirts that said "Team Dottie" on the back, I drew our logo to put on the shirts. If you want to know more about the Diabetic Association you can go to: americandiabeticassociation.org
*weight loss*
UGH! I'M SITTING AT -70 lbs for about 2 months now! I completely changed my routine in the gym but I'm still sitting at that darn number! However, I have still gone down another dress size, I am hoping that the stand still is just because of muscle gain and not because I'm not doing enough! One of my friends got married last weekend and it was awesome to be in a dress that was below size 18! Size 16 was my dress size that was even taken in, the last time I was a bridesmaid, it was a size 24...so I wore that 16 with pride.

THE LOVE CLEANSE
One of my favorite people to follow on twitter is: @thesinglewoman. She has a blog as well that I read time to time at: http://www.examiner.com/single-women-in-nashville/mandy-hale. Her name is Mandy Hale and she is a huge inspiration to me. She recently wrote a blog about closing a book on a former relationship and about doing this thing called "The Love Cleanse". Not only is it about freeing yourself from past relationships and moving on, but also about finding yourself and becoming a newer, better, healthier you. I'm pretty excited to give it a try! You can read more about it at this link: http://www.examiner.com/single-women-in-nashville/the-time-of-my-life.

Aggrivation and Frustration shouldnt come so quickly after hitting my goal!
*not gonna let it get me down*
So after hitting my goal, about a week and a half ago, I am already beginning to get frustrated. I don't know if its my crazy work schedule, even crazier school schedule, or starting P90x but I am literally going nowhere fast and adding 2 lbs. So have come to the conclusion that my body just isn't ready for the big X challenge and I need more time in the gym to get stronger before I can do this. The guy keeps telling me this workout isn't for everybody, and I feel like he is almost right. Its not for me right now. I know I can do this stuff eventually, but I'm just not there yet. Also, oddly enough, I miss the treadmill and elliptical like there is no tomorrow. So I'm hanging up my towel, but lifting my head. I'm constructing a new routine with allot of cardio, picking up new classes, and giving P90x another shot when I am ready to. Only 35 more pounds and I will be at the big 100. As i look back at my process I remember when I said only 35 more lbs and Ill be at 50. That gives me courage to keep going. Not setting a goal amount before has actually made this easier on me, I feel it has anyways. There isn't an expectation, just the fact that I know I'm at 65 and I have come this far so I know I can do 35 more. Please leave any suggestions, comments, or ideas. EVERYTHING is welcomed.

took FOREVER but here it is! My first pair of skinny jeans and GOAL COMPLETE!
FINALLY! Minus 67 pounds from January 1, 2010, I met my goal of buying my first pair of skinny jeans...along with a new shirt and a belt that I got a MEDIUM in! It felt great! and the ones in the picture felt a little baggie and I actually went down another size to size 12...two more sizes and I will be a single digit size! So whats next??? P90x! I have been sitting at 67 for a while now so it is time for a change, although I wont be doing it every day, I have decided to do it 4 days a week, and continue doing Yoga on Wednesdays, Kick Boxing on Thursdays, and Cardio on Fridays... I will do weekly updates on how it is going. I will start P90x next Saturday!

Losing LBS on Vacation AND Month 6 weigh in~
Yes...that's right, I lost weight on Vacation. Went to the beach for a week and left 5 lbs there...how did I do this? I exercised every day, except Wednesday, and took some of my own food with me. The first day I went for a four mile bike ride and was sooo sore the next day I didn't think I would be able to work out again, however, my aunt happened to bring her Biggest Loser DVD which was suprisingly enjoyable. She and I did the tape together for the rest of the week until the last day when we ended up doing a 6 maybe 7 mile bike ride again. I was so happy to go on vaca and come back 5 lbs lighter.
Now for my 6 month Weigh in results: -65 lbs! Not having set a goal amount for myself in the beginning, I now believe it is safe to say that I can lose 100. It's not a want, it's a will. It's been hard but I have come along way. Working out is easier than ever, which means it's time to change it up again. I feel good. My friends and family have been nothing but supportive. I even have random strangers in the gym letting me know they see a difference. So next weekend my 6 month challenge is up and I will go buy my own skinny jeans...hopefully on sale :D and set a new goal for myself! Thanks to all for reading and keeping up!

New Routines
It's been awhile, I know. I have been sooo busy with work and school....slacked a little at the gym this week but proud to say I have officially hit 60 lbs!!! I started using the elliptical instead of the treadmill this week, the treadmill has begun to start to hurt my knees and I don't feel like I'm making any progress on my 3k training. I plan to switch it out week to week. Also, I have started doing more free weights instead of only doing machine work. I have been doing it for a week and already can tell a difference in muscles on my arms, chest, and back.
I had a great day by the pool for July 4th, filled with a lot of R and R....and finger foods ;) what did everyone else do?

putting up the tissues, and getting on with it
After sulking all weekend about my results from the blood work at the Doctor's office and not working out, I hit the gym at 4:30 this morning and stayed until about 6:45. I thought I would be exhausted all day from it but actually feel pretty good and am going to do it again tomorrow.
Today I worked on a new work out routine and food menu. My new menu has more food on that is based on a lower cholesterol diet rather than only thinking about the calories. My doctor told me when I look at a Nutrition sticker that I need to look at the entire thing, not just a couple of key points because they all affect each other. Why I never thought of this I will never know.
So now I am done with my pity party and ready to get back in the game. I have more confidence that I can do this than I did before. One more weigh in and less than two months until I buy my skinny jeans...looking forward to getting them and setting a new goal.

Weigh In for Month 5 is with Praise! and a lil sadness
I weighed in at the Doctor this week and have lost an additional 13 lbs which makes me at 54! While I am very excited to have this number rise, I received a disturbing phone call back from the doctor (after some blood work)in which they stated that even though I have lost weight they are not impressed with my cholesterol numbers and triglycerides. They are concerned about the condition of my heart and want to start me on medication (normally used by diabetics). Not gonna lie, this freaked me out.
I started this whole thing, not to be 120 or fit into a size 6 but to be healthy. You can be whatever size in the world, but if your not healthy, then it does nothing. It was a huge blow to my inspiration to hear that what I thought I was doing is not enough. I have 3 months to try to better the numbers where they should be on my own, if not, then I start the medication to see where it takes me. Obviously, since I have lost weight my numbers are down, but not what they want. Needing Prayers and Inspiration!

5:40 am....
Can you say SNOOZE! I can!!! but fortunately...I have not! I have started my Monday and Tuesday 5:40 am workout routine this week (well...Tuesday/Wednesday...Memorial Day messed me up) and I can honestly say that I love it...I have so much energy during the day and don't have to worry about making it to the gym at night! Although, I am tired at earlier at night than I am used to, but it ensures a good night sleep since I am now in bed by 9:30/10! Fridays will be the worst, I won't have to get up until 6:30 for a run, but after kick boxing the night before, it will be tough to drag my but out of bed! We shall see...if this works out I will post my entire 7 day workout routine for you all to see!
OH! and I hit 50 pounds gone today! After being 49 for over a week, its official, I AM IN THE 50 POUND CLUB!

A Different Kind of Burger
While my family got ready to grill their half turkey and beef burgers, I took mine out of the freezer that I had prepared a couple of weeks ago and frozen. Its half spinach and turkey, along with some basalmic for taste.
It's my new twist on burgers that I am sure will stick with me as long as I am making the burgers... It is really good and I can hardly taste the difference, besides it being better. I also don't feel so "heavy" as I normally do after chowing down on a burger...Chips of choice? Lay's Light...They are so much better for you than regular Lay's and they taste just like the originals. I will have some baked beans though, can't help but indulge a little! What did you and your family eat for Memorial Day? Everyone have a great one!

Lazy Saturday and a Wii
You need one every now and then right? Barely going to sleep last night because I was up late hanging with old friends from high school is keeping from the gym today. Also, we had Mexican for lunch, but I am pretty proud of myself for not eating many chips and salsa :D I could have, however, done without the Chimichanga...haha oh well it happens! I didn't eat the whole thing so it's all good! My nana is making homemade Brunswick Stew, Barbecue, and Coleslaw......so today is pretty much not my best day, but that's okay, taking everything with moderation. Thinking I may do some strength exercises later just so I can say I was completely immobile today ;D haha! The overcast, no sunshine sky certainly isn't helping me in this struggle to get up!
Just Dance, for the Wii, is the funnest thing I have done on the Wii. This summer I am doing Camp Tattnall at the Daycare and I brought my Wii to play with the kids, one of the kids brought this Just Dance game and let me tell you, it was the funnest workout I may have ever done...I'm talking manly sweating work out! It was great! Also, with all of the activities and sports we have plane I am looking forward to a great, active summer with the kiddies!
Does anybody else have an Wii games that help with working out? Personally I think the Wii is the best thing to ever happen to the video game world...I love that it gets you up and moving rather than just sitting and watching! Thoughts?
Everyone have a great Saturday

Dinner for One!
Just Me, Myself, and I- but that's okay! I have been looking forward to tonight for a couple of days! Jumped in the kitchen and started cooking...I was creative with the cooking but not the name...Spaghetti with Salmon, if anyone has a better suggestion please let me know! It was a delish dish!
Here are the ingredients I used:
-Jar of Artichokes
-Can of tomatoes (any kind, and I drained the juice)
-half a jar of mushrooms
-half of a large onion (chopped)
-whole wheat spaghetti noodles (I also used thin)
-one frozen Salmon (thawed)
-Balsamic Vinaigrette (light)
-Parmesan Cheese
385 Cal!
Step One: Boil the Spaghetti
Step Two: Combing Mushrooms and Chopped Onions to heated pan and cook until onions brown a tad
Step Three: Add your Artichokes
Step Four: Broil Salmon in oven for about 3-5 mins to kick start cooking! (I sprinkled on a tad bit of seasoning salt)
Step Five: Add Tomatoes...and then...cut up Salmon and add it to the Veggies, Drain Noodles and add to pan as well!
Finally...I added my Balsamic and sprinkled on some Parmesan for taste...
Let me know what you all think! I loved it!

Luanna and Berma (my LBS. foes)
WELL...DARN! I was sick last week and didn't get to go to the gym...plus it was my brother's birthday...Problem with this picture? All of the food that's different from my routine (plus my Nana's homemade bday cake) and not being able to work out= +2 LBS.!!!!! The moment I saw this I went straight to the gym Saturday morning to work off Luanna and Berma (the new pet names for my foe LB). HOWEVER, I weighed in today and have lost Luanna, but rest assure Berma is sticking around!
My other issue? I still have a clogged nose and can't breathe! Which, by the way, is a necessity in life as well as working out! Trying not to let it get me to down though, it's just rough when you have seen nothing but - and now have to add a +.
HAPPY NOTE
Even though Saturday morning showed me I gained those 2 pounds I still decided to go shopping for a couple of new clothes...and I found out I dropped 2 dress sizes! It was pretty exciting...In fact I had a friend today complimented me on all my "new" clothes, I had to fill her in they were clothes I save from years back, I knew one day I would LIGHT a fire under my butt and get into weight loss!
Still looking for a good pair of running shoes...any suggestions??

Step Out Walk for Diabetes
The title of this blog is actually a link to my team page for the diabetes marathon! Click it and check it out!!!! THANKS!
Training Help!
So recently I have set a new goal for myself to run/walk (mainly run) in a 5k race. The race is in September in Savannah and is a Diabetes Race. My mom was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 16 (which means she is insulin dependent and has to be on a pump). So far, on a treadmill, I can run a mile and a half without stopping, which is about half a 5k.
Problems?
The treadmill isn't the same as running outside! I can barely do a full mile! Does anyone have suggestions?!? I know with practice I'll make progress but I just kind of feel over whelmed!
Shoes?!
Has anyone tried those Reebok Easy Tones? I really want to try a pair as my every day tennis shoes, they are cute and I am wondering if they will help tone my legs. I am not sure how they are for working out though?!

Month 4 Weigh In
Weighed today with the doctor...-41 lbs! 9 more to 50!!! It is pretty exciting...only 2 more weigh ins until I buy my first pair of skinny jeans, not gonna lie, I am kinda nervous. I feel as though it now time to hit the "crunch time" button and really kick things into gear...my schedule has me out of whack this week at the gym but that's ok, not gonna sweat it to much. Just gonna be careful with what I eat and stay as active as possible. Which by the way, I have found these awesome protein bars, specifically made for women, Luna Bars!
They are delish but kinda high on sugar so I only suggest you eat them if you intend on working out!
Happy Cinco de Mayo to everyone! Today will be my first time eating Mexican since January! I'm excited, but not going to crazy with it! Have a great Hump Day ALL!

Caramelized Chicken and Broiled Asparagus
I made this for dinner tonight, sooo good!
What you need:
~3 Frozen Chicken Breast (thawed)
~Italian Dressing
~1 small onion
~2 tablespoons of minced garlic
~Olive Oil
~Parmesan Topping
~Bundle of Asparagus
1.Thaw the chicken over night and then marinate in the Italian Dressing in the fridge during the day 2.Set the oven on broil and wash asparagus 3.Coat the Asparagus in Olive Oil and minced garlic, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on asparagus (salt to taste) and put in the oven. 3.While this is cooking, heat up a large skillet while you chop up the onion into strips, when heated add onion and garlic 4. When onion has started to brown add chicken and drippings 5.Cook about 5 mins on Med/High before flipping 5. Flip and cover for 5 more mins 6. By this time Asparagus should be finished, Brown Rice goes great with this!

Reading Between The Lines...
Looking for a really good book to read about weight loss and the challenges and 20 something college student goes through...Problem? I can't find anything! As a browse through Barnes and Noble all I can seem to come across are books about older women, usually single or divorced, trying to get their lives on track or the 30 somethings looking for marriage...neither of which apply to me. Also, I just bought a great cookbook that I am really ready to crack open and get into...it's called the 3 Hour Diet, it's whole aspect is about eating every 3 hours, which is actually what I am trying to do. It has guides and even some great menus for those of us who have problems "putting it all together". I got it on sale at Barnes and Nobles.
So anyways if you guys have any advice on some good reads let me know!

Conquering Goals and Setting New Ones
(Picture is from Easter Sunday with my lil brother)
Today I realized that I only have 13 more lbs. until I meet -50! Even though I hadnt hit it yet it felt like a huge accomplishment. Also I decided today that not only do I want to meet my 6 month goal of getting the skinny jeans but I really want to run in the cancer run around Christmas. I am able to run 1 mile and a half while briskly walking the last half (totalling two miles) but I really want to be able to run two miles straight.
Got a new recipe for you all as well. I made it the other night and it was DELISCIOUS! I had grilled shrimp with roasted aspargus. It was very simple all I did was grill the shrimp with marinated with basalmic vinigerette (becoming my favorite thing to use while cooking)and roasted the asparagus at 400 for 15 minutes, I brushed the asparagus with olive oil and garlic. I also had half a cup brown rice from Minute Ready. I used no butter and no salt, it was still so good! Try it and let me know how it is!

so many struggles so little time....
Have you ever just wanted to restart the week so you can be ready for the struggles ahead...
Sunday I decided not to go to the gym so I could go to the movies with my little brother and then home to study. I knew I could just work out extra hard on Monday. When I got home that night my mom had been home sick with a stomach virus, around 10:30 I found her passed out in the hall. I finally got her to come to and walked her to her room where she passed out again...at which point I called 911. It was the most terrifying experience I have ever gone through because I was home alone with her and literally all of my training for such situation went out the window.
The past 24 hours haven't been great, she is stable now though and they are keeping her one more night for observation.
I know I shouldn't even be thinking about it right now but my brain keeps going back to the 2 days, possibly 3, that I have missed in exercise. Also, my eating has been really weird, I literally have had fast food for every meal. I tried to keep it smart choices but still its burning in the back of my mind. I am going to start back Wednesday in the gym, I chose Wednesday because for me in the gym it is like my Monday...I just hope I haven't completely messed up things, I have done so good.
I am praying for my mother's speedy recovery and that she is also well enough to come home tomorrow.

Month 3 Weigh In
WEIGH IN...I haven't blogged in about a week, but I have awesome news...During March I lost a total 14 lbs.!!! That's a total 32 lbs. since January!!! Made me feel awesome!!! A lot of people have been complementing me on my weight loss, I notice it sometimes, but most of the time I can't really tell much...I'm sure it's just because I see myself every day :/
WEIGHTS...
Starting weights a couple of weeks ago has been tough, I had to ask the owner of the gym to help me out. The biggest problem I have is with abs...he showed me some really great work outs on the equipment that I am excited to use...I want to do more than crunches. Yoga is getting easier each week, I find myself not struggling as much :D
DINNER?!
Tonight I experimented in the kitchen :O and it was delicious to say the least...below is a pic and the recipe:
4 3oz. pieces salmon
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 orange bell pepper
1 medium onion
2 cups of brown rice
Low fat balsamic vinaigrette dressing
1. I chopped all my vegetables up and first put the onion in the skillet and let them begin to cook on medium (about 3 mins) 2. I added the rest of the vegetables and let them cook while I started my rice 3. Next I added the salmon to the skillet with the vegetables and cook on high for about 4-6 mins (turning over half away), or until the salmon is almost fully cooked 4. Add as much dressing as you want to the skillet (I did about 2 tbs.) and let everything cook for about 2-3 more mins covered on medium/high heat 5. Finally I put a spoon full and a half of rice on the plate, placing the salmon and vegetables on top, IT WAS SOO GOOD!

Gaining the Weight....
Not what you think! Yesterday I started my strength training...I'm not so savvy when it comes to weights and what exercises work what muscles. I dont want to be "buff" just tone some areas up. I decided to do 4 days of strength training and to alternate from arms/back to legs/abs. Anyways, this was a short blog, I'll update later in the week with the progress...does anyone have any suggestions???

"Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" Love it or Hate it?
LOVE IT! I love this show. Jamie Oliver is this English Chef who has come to America's most unhealthiest city and is challenging the community to change their eating habits.
The show is full of shocking events such as the fact that the children seem to know NOTHING about veggetable's, would still it a chicken nugget after seeing how it was made, and choose processed foods over fresh foods. BUT, out of all the shocking things, what shocked me the most was the fact the kids didnt even know how to use a knife and fork because it is not allowed in the school.
The lunch ladies seem horrid, and no matter how much Jamie stands up for them they hate him. They don't appreciate anything that he is trying to do. Also, they seem to have an attitude with everything he comes up with.
This show is a win, and I cant wait to see the rest of the season. A couple of years ago I had a project for health class on Children's Nutrition, and I did a project with the triplets in my classroom. They did awesome, and after seeing how much kids dont know about nutrition I have decided I am going to do it again with my new group of kids next week.
Check out the show on ABC.

Yoga-er...YOGO!
So last night I went to a yoga class at my gym for the first time. The class is called Cyntergy, which is a combination of yoga and pilates...I was looking to have a relaxing, calming hour along with a couple of stretches- Pssh...YEAH RIGHT! So much harder than it looked, but surprisingly, I completely enjoyed it! While I looked around the room, all of the women made it look so effortless, as I was swallowing in sweat...
However, after a couple of stops to reposition my body, I finally got into the groove. Once we finished, with the hard stuff we did a couple of really relaxing moves. Although I was really sore today, in muscles I did not even know I had, I am really looking forward to going back next week....
Today I was talking to a parent at the day care about my experience and one of my lovely 3 yr olds over heard. When I came back into the classroom they started to ask me what "YOGO" was. I tried to explain it to them, but unfortunately, they demanded I show them my new moves...it was a show to say the least.
We worked on the "downward dog" and the "warrior pose" afterwards we got the scarves out and did some relaxing movements, it was too cute. I have decided to go look up childrens yoga moves on youtube.
All in all it was a great experience and I cannot wait to continue into my routine...both Yoga and Yogo...

Hello All!
Just got home last night from celebrating my 22nd Birthday! Before I left I had lost an official 27 lbs...however I have not weighed myself from the return, I have decided to give myself 2 weeks to recuporate from the celebration because there was cake...a couple pieces of cake...and a hotdog! But its okay, it was my birthday! I was really excited to get into the gym this morning though, and to get back into my regular eating routine!

Seriously the BEST lasagna I have ever had...seriously
I tweeked it a little, just to cut some calories off of the already 350! below is the original, under it is my substitutes!
Ingredients
*3 cups pasta sauce (like Classico Spicy Tomato and Pesto)
*16 ounces 2% cottage cheese
*1/2 cup grated parmesan
*9 whole wheat lasagna noodles
*8 ounces mozzarella cheese
*Approximately 4 cups mixed vegetables (I used spinach, carrots, sundried tomatoes, and zucchini)
Preheat oven to 400*. Spray 11 X 8 glass casserole dish.
Combine cottage and parmesan cheeses.
Place 3 uncooked noodles in pan.
Cover with 1 cup pasta sauce, 1/3 cheese mixture, 1/3 vegetables, and 1/3 mozzarella.
Repeat 2 more times.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake one hour.
Makes about 8 servings, ~350 kcal per serving.
I found this really good Parmesan substitute and you cant even taste the difference! My raw veggies were squash, zucchini, mushroom, and spinach. The pasta sauce I used was Ragu: heart healthy, it also had tomato chunks in it that was delish! I made it the night before and through it in the oven the next night!

"Kicking" my Butt (literally)
Since January 7, I have been attending a kick boxing class...Mr. Willie is ROUGH! He does play around for anything. He really pushes us to do our best. When we slack or seem to just not be getting it he comes over to help us out. I enjoy this class so much that I wish I could go every day, sadly it is only taught on Thursdays at my gym. During his one hour routine we do a series of steps, kicks, punches, and jumping. It is a killer cardio workout.
What do I do on the days I'm not "swinging like a butterfly"?
One hour and a half of cardio...I have started with 30 minutes on an eliptical and the land on a treadmill for an hour. Once on the treadmill I walk quickly, jog, run, jog, then walk for the first 30. After that I hit the incline to a 10 and walk at a slower speed up hill for about 15 mins. The rest of my hour is spent just walking at a good pace until I do a 5 min. cool down...I have not added weight lifting to my routine just because I really want to loose weight first and then gain muscle, is that bad? So far its working out for me, I am slowly becoming a "gymaholic".

So you know when your on your diet and you finally cant take it anymore and need to eat!!! Well thankfully that hasn't happened, on my vacation I found that I missed my daily routine and my regular foods...and my GYM! In fact, I walked every day and used a treadmill while on my little haitis... When I did finally come home at 5 AM, we got to Macon at 10 am and I literally jumped in my car and went to the gym for two hours. FELT SO GOOD TO BE BACK!!!

Vacation Blues
As excited as I am to being out of town for FOUR days, I can't help but worry about my life change and how the vaca will effect it. I have already to pack my own food to take with me so I can stay as normal as possible, but my main concern is there is no gym...four days with no exercise is kinda freaking me out. Hopefully my vaca buddy will want to walk with me at night or in the mornings just so I can get some kind of movement into my four day break...we shall see!

weekend routine?
During the week my meals are so easy because of the routine, but once the weekends starts I feel like routine is out the window! Trying to stick to my 6 healthy meals on time is difficult when I don't wake up until 12 o'clock and I have completely missed breakfast and snack number one. I also have had a problem at dinner time deciding what to eat...I have decided that every Sunday I will sit down and plan my dinner meals out for the week and stick to the plan...hopefully tomorrow will be more on schedule than today...Saturdays are crazy off for me.
Whats my FAVORITE thing to eat during the day?

Month 1
For the past four years I have been struggling to find the most effective way to lose weight when I finally came to the revelation the most effect way was: ME! I have finally decided thats where the problem is, not only in the past have made excuses for why I was over weight, but I also made excuses for why the weight wouldnt come off. Not anymore, January 3, 2010, I joined a gym for one year, and so far have made it at least 4 out of the 7 days of the week, if not every day.
What's my motivation? Not only am I concerned about my health and want to live life to the fullest, but also: SKINNY JEANS...clearly not the jeans for overweight people. Tired of the jeans that never fit right, the ones that sag in all the right places, that I have to pull up every time I stand up. You know the ones that are to tight around the stomach but are to baggy in the butt and legs. I pine over my friends that get to where their skinny jeans and cute tops! So here we go...six months until I buy my first pair...August 1, 2010, I will waltz into the store of choice, try on, and purchase my first pair...2 weeks into February and I already have lost 11 pounds.
I know with the right diet and exercise I can do this. The gym and extreme work outs will be the easiest, it's the six HEALTHY small meals a day and cuting out all breads is going to be tough because lets face it I LOVE the bread, the butter, the CHEESE!!! It will definitely be a day by day task! I know that I can do this, I once had an aunt that told me I would do it when I was ready...well I'm ready!
